Gabriela
Clinical Manager
Gaby graduated with honours from Medix College in 2009 as a Level II Dental Assistant and was proud to serve as the valedictorian of her graduating class. Her passion for dentistry began during her own orthodontic treatment as a teenager, where she witnessed firsthand the positive impact dental care can have on a person’s overall health, confidence, and quality of life. With 18 years of experience in the dental field as both a dental assistant and treatment co-ordinator , Gaby has worked in all areas of dentistry and assisted in a variety of specialties. While she enjoys all aspects of patient care, surgical dentistry is her true passion. She takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable, supported, and at ease throughout their treatment, always striving to make each visit a positive experience. In addition to her clinical role, Gaby is also the practice’s Social Media Content Creator, where she combines her creativity and passion for patient education to showcase the team’s expertise, highlight office events, and create engaging content that helps connect patients with the practice. Outside of the office, Gaby enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She loves the outdoors, camping adventures, and planning memorable celebrations and events.
Sadaf
Dental Assistant
Sadaf began her dental career in 2015 after earning her HARP certification from George Brown College. In 2018, she graduated as a Level II Dental Assistant from Oxford College and has been working alongside a periodontist since the start of her career. She joined Aurora Periodontal Centre in 2020 and proud to be part of a professional and dedicated team committed to providing high-quality patient care. She fluent in both English and Persian.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons, attending social gatherings and staying active at the gym.

It is my pleasure to be a part of the fabulous team at Aurora Periodontal Centre! As a dental assistant, I love assisting our patients and helping them achieve and preserve their best smiles. To do this, I am an advocate of preventive and patient-focused care which is catered to individual needs. I have been working as a Certified Level II Dental Assistant since 2016 after graduated from George Brown College. I am always interested in the latest techniques and technologies to make modern dentistry a more comfortable experience. I enjoy practicing all aspects of dentistry, especially oral surgery. Outside of dentistry, I’m a huge party fan and enjoy dancing

Dental Assistant
Adrienne is a Level -II surgical assistant at Auora Perio. She graduated from George Brown College and has many years of experience in general dentistry, Pediatric dentistry, orthodontic, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. On her free time she enjoys spending time ant the cottage and loves shopping.
Melody
Dental Assistant
Melody graduated from Anderson College's Level II Dental Assisting program in 2023 and is passionate about creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient. She is dedicated to ensuring each person feels welcomed, cared for, and confident in the quality of their treatment from the moment they walk through our doors. Her warm, compassionate approach helps patients feel at ease throughout every visit. Outside of the office, Melody enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time camping with family and friends. Her caring personality, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional patient care make her a valued member of our team.
Cassandra
Dental Assistant
Cassandra (Cass) is a Level II Surgical Assistant at Aurora Periodontal Centre. She graduated from Durham College and has worked extensively in specialty dental care since completing her program. Originally from Zimbabwe, Cass is fluent in both English and Shona. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, and the APC team has become an important part of that as well.
Maryam
Dental Assistant
Maryam, a dedicated surgical dental assistant with six years of experience, assists periodontists with oral surgical procedures and is trained in maintaining infection control standards. She believes that being a dental assistant is an opportunity to care for others and make a positive difference in their lives. She takes pride in creating a calm, supportive environment for patients throughout their treatment. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, spending quality time with family and embracing the outdoors.
Isabelle
Dental Assistant
Isabelle graduated from of Durham College’s Level II Dental Assisting program in 2025. She is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient who visits the clinic. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and considers herself a true foodie who loves discovering great local cuisine.
Sheila
M.D.R, Certified Medical,Dental Reprocessing & Steralization
Sheila joined the Aurora Periodontal Centre in January 2023 managing our sterilization center. Her responsibility is to ensure we follow all infection prevention and control (IPAC) guidelines. She cleans, decontaminates, prepares, packages and sterilizes instruments to meet operational needs. In 2004, she successfully completed the Central Service Techniques Course (CSAO) and in 2010 a Certificate for Medical Device Reprocessor. Prior to working at the Aurora Periodontal Centre, Sheila retired as the Lead Hand Medical Device Reprocessor at the Hospital for Sick Children after 40 years of service. During her spare time, she enjoys travelling, cruising, camping with family, and especially playing bingo.
